SafeStyle Eyewear was founded in 2018 by Tim Lewis, a former Perth plumber who, after spotting cheap safety glasses in his rear‑view mirror, set out to create the world’s first stylish, AS/NZS 1337.1‑certified eyewear—which he began designing and shipping from his bedroom and has since grown into a global brand.
